Mondays really aren't supposed to be other worldly, so when I took a wrong turn heading to Duran's Pharmacy for a mineral water, I was a bit surprised to realize I was face to face with the world famous Spaceship House, parked on a pitstop between its stellar journeys today, just a bit East of the heart of Albuquerque.

"...'about to launch' kind'a feel..."
One can't ever be sure nowadays whether a house they're looking at is really a spaceship, but I've got a feeling about this one that it may possibly be on Elon Musk's inventory sheet.
I was walking down Girard to a local coffee shop, on a particularly cloudy day, you know, the kind that makes you realize the sky is, literally, part of outer space - And I remembered this house was nearby. It just so happened the clouds surrounded it perfectly, almost giving it an "about to launch" kinda' feel.
The geometry and shape and absolute artistry of this house reminds me of Gaudi's work, the Catalan architect, especially against the mid-50's styled backdrop of surrounding houses - If this UFO house can't literally lift off the ground into space, it certainly lifts into the imagination of every passerby who walks through its lucky neighborhood!
